Description

Helen Eady discusses the immigration of her father from Skopelos, Greece. Eady also talks about her father, James Perdicaris' travels to Florida and his first years in the United States. She discusses his young life, including his previous marriage and starting of a restaurant. The conversation turns to Perdicaris' strong compliance to Greek Culture that he continued in America, such as religious ties, traditions, and family expecations. Eady also reflects back on childhood memories that involved family events and the impact her father's Greek heritage made on her life.
