The need for technology during the pandemic

Flagler Health app makes spotting COVID easy but makes technology a necessity

Before the COVID Pandemic, touchless payment methods and online schooling were already breaking out but the demand grew due to the pandemic and quarantine orders. For Flagler College students, the implementation of the Flagler Health app not only makes the school and students more aware of COVID outbreaks or symptoms but also makes having your phone a necessity while on campus. Students who do not show a "green screen" on campus can not attend class or grab food and for those who forget to sign in or find issues with the app spend more time solving that issue than spending time in class. While the app is a useful tool for both students and the school, it begs the question, what new forms of technology will be implemented in the future both during and after COVID?
