Originally built in 1962, Cocoa Beach Pier was originally known as “Canaveral Pier and " was constructed with more than 2.5 miles of boardwalk planks and 270 pilings, every 40 feet in length. It has been a favorite of both locals and tourists throughout the years and has undergone many changes. In 2014 it went under a huge make-over to attract more guests, and it is one of the most visited places in Florida.
