Joanne Justiss explains how her family came to be in Jacksonville, FL, tracing her roots back to England, where her family were Quakers. She traces her genealogy through documents and discusses the circumstances of her family during major events, such as, the American Revolution and the Civil War. Her personal memories include her father dying at a young age, and staying on a family farm in Virginia with her grandparents during each summer.
